Mirella graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University. She also continued to further her knowledge base through completing a mobilization and prolotherapy course, and consistently attends conferences and workshops throughout the year.
Mirella enjoys all aspects of podiatry, but her favorite part of the career is building rapport and getting to know patients! Her experience is wide-ranging but she enjoys general podiatry the most, where she undertakes regular foot checks for diabetic patients and engages in general nail care, using keryflex as a restorative treatment for damaged nails. She also has the ability to take part in partial nail avulsion toe surgery.
Additionally, she is experienced in treating biomechanical issues and musculoskeletal injuries. She is skilled in shockwave therapy for those with lower limb pain, and can attend to conditions including plantar fasciitis, shin splints and achilles tendonitis. In this manner, she specializes with dancers.
When Mirella is away from the clinic, she loves attending social events with family and friends!
