Mitchell Podhajski

Mitchell graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters degree in Podiatric Practice. He has a keen interest in the biomechanics of podiatry, with expertise in orthotic management and thrives in assessing, diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries as well as implementing exercise-based rehabilitation programs. He has developed a strong understanding of the demands exercise places on the lower limbs and the importance of injury prevention, rehabilitation and strives to work closely with all of his patients in achieving their unique lifestyle goals. He is particularly experienced with active individuals and athletes with lower limb pain and can incorporate the use of shockwave therapy in his treatment to alleviate this. Additionally, Mitch is also experienced in nail care and general podiatry on the whole, with the ability to undertake partial nail avulsion toe surgeries to effectively treat ingrown toenails.

Overall, he is dedicated to developing his podiatric-based skills and knowledge through his ongoing attendance at conferences and professional development events, which enables him to consistently provide the latest evidence-based management.

Outside of the clinic, Mitch loves keeping active and currently plays with the local VFL team, Coburg Lions!
