After 11 years playing professionally and 2 years Assistant Coaching in the Australian Rules Football League, Simon Minton-Connell then went on to concentrate on management/ownership in the hospitality industry over a 15-year period throughout Victoria. For the past 9 years Simon has been back into sports management with the Fitzroy Stars Football & Netball Club, which is primarily an Aboriginal Organisation, in the position of Chief Executive Officer. Not only does the FSFNC concentrate on the 12 sides of football and netball, it also impacts the health and wellbeing of the Aboriginal community members as well as education, training and employment. With Simon’s network & experience in sports and the Aboriginal community organisations, it is an obvious synergy between his role at the Fitzroy Stars and Talaria Podiatry. Not only has he assisted in the Talaria shop renovations he also happens to be the husband of the founder of Talaria Podiatry, Kristy. He is a proud Tasmanian and enjoys travelling to Greece annually with Kristy.
