Ebony (she/her) has over 7 year’s experience as a Podiatrist and is bringing her knowledge, plus her kind & friendly nature, to join our Talaria Family. Ebony completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Podiatric Practice studies at LaTrobe University in 2018.
Ebony is a caring Podiatrist with an interest in all aspects of foot health. Her specialties include Paediatric Podiatry (treating kids & teens), sports injuries and dermatological issues.
Ebony’s love for sports helps her in dealing with musculoskeletal & other sport related foot & lower limb injuries. Growing up she played Championship Basketball before earning two scholarships to play Basketball in college in the United States where she attended High School!
Ebony loves giving back and is passionate about volunteering & it’s impacted her approach to Podiatry. She’s donated her time to multiple locations over the years! She loves the community feeling of Talaria and the Thornbury area, and meeting people from all walks of life and getting to know them. It helps in her rounded approach to healthcare for her patients.
Ebony focuses on helping people relax if they are nervous or have been putting off a Podiatry visit. If you are embarrassed about a condition, she ensures you to not be as “you won’t be the first or the last time” she has seen that issue, and most things are more common than you think! If her patients are anxious during an appointment, her advice is to “just keep breathing, imagine you’re on a beach or somewhere relaxing”. Ebony worked at Athlete’s Foot in Preston before becoming a Podiatrist, so is knowledgeable in shoe selection & of the Preston and Thornbury area. Outside of the clinic you might find Ebony being a foodie at local eateries (her local recommendation is Shop Ramen in Preston) or travelling the world – she recently attended Coachella in USA – how cool! She also loves a good Pilates Hot Room in her free time, she highly recommends it!
