Ibrahim (Abe) Pulos

Abe (he/him) graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences & Podiatry at Auckland University of Technology. He also works at Coburg Podiatry. 😀

Abe has a special interest in diabetes & wound care – he says they are areas where early & ongoing care can truly change someone’s quality of life. Abe also enjoys helping people get back on their feet, whether it’s managing pain or preventing future issues & helping people feel better, step by step. 🥰

Abe wanted to be in a profession where he could make a real impact. He felt that Podiatry stood out because it’s a unique blend of medical knowledge, hands-on care, & long-term patient relationships. Abe says it felt like the perfect way to make a real difference in helping people stay mobile and independent.

Abe aims to create a space where people feel comfortable, heard, and supported. He understands for some it can be nerve-wracking to see a Podiatrist, so Abe likes to focus on making it a positive, reassuring experience where patients feel genuinely cared for and leave feeling better.

Abe says that feet are often overlooked, but they’re the foundation of everything we do. Seeing a Podiatrist like Abe early can help prevent small issues from becoming serious. “If you’re nervous or putting it off – don’t be! We’re here to help, not judge, and most people feel relieved after just one visit”. 😍

Abe says “I’ve loved how welcoming and supportive the Talaria team is – it’s such a genuine and passionate environment. Everyone really goes above and beyond for their patients, and it’s great to be part of that kind of care”.

Outside of work, Abe is big on cooking and baking – especially trying out new recipes. Abe also loves eating out, discovering new places, and going on spontaneous road trips. Anything that combines food and a bit of adventure is a win for Abe! He also loves spending time with his dog! 🐶

Abe is loving working in Thornbury & thinks it has such a great community vibe – friendly, creative, and full of hidden gems. Abe love grabbing coffee from Umberto’s and can never resist the pastries from Cedar Bakery! “Thornbury is the perfect spot to explore on a sunny afternoon”. ☀️
