Nikki (she/her) graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters in Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University in 2017. Her expertise lies within the realm of general foot and nail care. She is trained in all aspects of podiatric care but her strength lies in gerontology and she particularly enjoys diabetic care. In relation to this, she typically encourages regular foot checks to manage foot health and reduce the likelihood of complications in the older population. She typically undertakes neurovascular assessments to ensure adequate circulation in this manner.
In addition to this, she also has a deep understanding of musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation and can treat anybody with lower limb pain through implementing both shockwave therapy and orthotic management. Nikki is fluent in conversational Greek and takes delight in incorporating this into her work where possible!
In her spare time, Nikki loves spending time with her friends and she is looking towards growing her own family.

Nikki loves meeting new people & getting to know clients during a consult. “You get to chat to them every few weeks… and helping them out, that’s a bonus that they get to feel good afterwards.” She takes a holistic approach to care, rather than just something physical, by getting to know her patients on a deeper level & using her OT knowledge. 🥰
Her expertise lies within general foot & nail care, and Nikki has a special spot for her geriatric clients and has specialised with that age group. She finds their stories refreshing in today’s world. She particularly enjoys diabetic care & encourages Neurovascular Assessments. She also works with all age groups, and as a mother herself, has the caring nature to relate to children, teens & parents alike 👨👩👧
Nikki absolutely loves working in the Thornbury area & admits her “purse got a workout” when she first started as you’re spoilt for choice with the coffee, restaurants & shops on High St.
Nikki says Talaria is a really nice work environment, the clients are lovely. “It’s just a really nice chill vibe, very relaxed.” She thinks the clinic is beautiful and “doesn’t feel like a Podiatry clinic” with its modern aesthetic & calming atmosphere ✨
Nikki explains her care as very gentle. She understands some people may have Google searched procedures and been made a bit nervous about Podiatry. She ensures to talk patients through everything to put them at ease & take things so gentle that the usual response is “oh, that was it?” 😅
Outside of work, Nikki says her hobby is her child ❤️. She loves doing life with them & being a Mother has changed her life. She loves getting out with her child for little coffee runs & catch ups. If she gets a few minutes to herself, it’s usually going for a walk, working out, shopping or enjoying a coffee solo. ☺️
