Zainab (she/her has been a Podiatrist for over 5 years & has a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. 👣🎓
Zainab has a particular interest in biomechanics, musculoskeletal & sports Podiatry and understanding how the way we move affects our feet and the rest of the body.
She is also passionate about Pilates and movement. Soon Zainab will officially be a qualified Pilates teacher! Zainab loves combining her Podiatry knowledge with movement and strength to help people move better, feel stronger and understand their bodies. 👣👍
Zainab loves the supportive team at the clinic and the mix of patients that trust her to help them, and the good balanced lifestyle working at Talaria gives her. She loves the clinic location – “it’s so convenient from food to shopping to Pilates – everything is within walking distance!”, she said.
So far Zainab’s hot local picks is Juju’s Deli (which is what sold her to work here hehe!) and Mondo Di Pasta which she says is so quick & yummy! 🥪🍝
Outside of work, Zainab is a huge soccer fan and loves keeping active. Fun fact: Zainab once scored a goal, celebrated with a Ronaldo “Siuuu!”… and tore her ACL doing it! Probably not her best celebration, but definitely one she’ll never forget! ⚽
When she is not working, Zainab LOVES TRAVELLING, going out for dinner, trying new restaurants, reading books, watching movies, vlogging and making TikToks about Podiatry, Pilates & food reviews. Zainab loves capturing memories, trying new things and spending time with family and friends. She loves a good Sports Podiatry podcast. She’s also a self confessed Directioner (One Direction fan!). ✈️
And, of course, if you ever catch Zainab watching someone walk, there’s a very good chance she’s secretly analysing their biomechanics.
You can take the Podiatrist out of the clinic, but you can’t take the Podiatry out of the Podiatrist! 😅👣
