We’re onto our sixth lockdown now, we know the drill… and while this is part of our ‘new normal’- it is testing at times. We are still here in the clinic, adapting and treating patients on reduced hours.
Thank you for being so supportive, especially if we have had to reschedule your appointment to a later date. Anyone who has an appointment can see us if experiencing pain, have a referral from the GP or if their condition is going to deteriorate. If you are unsure whether you fit into these categories, feel free to call, and one of our Podiatrists can discuss your options. We are still here, and we are still permitted and able to help you safely.
The staff are all going well and filling their time throughout lockdown with various activities. Kristy is spending lots of time with her daughter Alannah, trying to make some plans for her second birthday in a few weeks. Julia luckily managed to get back to New Zealand between the lockdowns (you can read all about it here) and is spending her time at home doing some Pilates and pottery. Nikki recently moved into her new home, so she is busy redecorating and organising her space. Mirella has been spending time furthering her studies in Podiatry and going on long walks around the lake. Sabina has spent lots of time with her family at home having BBQs when it’s nice weather. Merve is studying online and enjoys going for a walk to get her daily coffee fix. Anna is busy as ever, helping look after her Granddaughters and lots of gardening. Jules is studying at Melbourne Uni, and she has been busy with presentations and assignments.
We care about the health and safety of our patients and our community. At Talaria Podiatry, we ensure we are keeping up to the standards of COVID-19 protocols. To ensure this, we have implemented safety measures including:
– Checking in and QR codes
– Patient screening
– Monitoring temperature checking
– Cleaning of all surfaces and clinic utilities
– Treatment rooms cleaned after every consultation
We are here and will continue to support the Thornbury community as best as we can. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is anything we can do.
