To assist in a more comprehensive evaluation, please bring 2 or 3 pairs of your most worn shoes and any old orthotics you may have if you’re dealing with biomechanical or foot pain. This will allow us to give more tailored advice. 

This depends on whether you’ve been referred through your GP under the Enhanced Primary Care Scheme. If so, Podiatry is covered under Medicare for five gap-free appointments annually. 

If you’re dealing with foot or ankle pain, or notice changes in the appearance or function of your feet—such as swelling, redness, numbness, or sores—see a Podiatrist as soon as possible to address these concerns before they get worse. 

The required number of sessions will differ based on your condition, its severity, and how it affects your daily activities. Your Podiatrist will explain this further during your first visit.
